No Sizzla

After much anticipation for Sizzla Kalonji's return to performing in the United States, his tour has hit a roadblock. This Rastafarian artiste has been denied a Visa to the US, according to Stephen Brush of International Artists Agency, who booked the tour.

The gig was scheduled to begin on November 21st in three cities and it does not seem like it is going happen.  SIZZLA, whose real name is Miguel Collins has not held a USA Visa or Work permit since 2008

Bolt to Lose $$

Sprint icon Usain Bolt fears he will lose millions of dollars in potential sponsorship as a result of suggestions that he could be barred from competing at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Lightning Bolt

Just in case you've been hiding under a rock and did not see Usain Bolt in Moscow this past weekend, let me tell you about it.  Usain "Lightning" Bolt took home three (3) gold medals - 100M, 200M & 4x100M Relay all in a week.
He is the most decorated medal holder in world championship history. Bolt has eight (8) Golds and two Silver medals. . . more than Carl Lewis (8 Golds, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze) and Michael Johnson (8 Golds).

Jamaica 51

Let's celebrate the 51st year of Jamaica's Independence on August 6th in remembrance of the good times we had as children in Jamaica, W.I.  Some of us can still remember August 6, 1962 as a day of fun and good times as we witnessed the coming of age party for our island home.
