Sprint icon Usain Bolt fears he will lose millions of dollars in potential sponsorship as a result of suggestions that he could be barred from competing at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
The claim has come from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) as it carried out a probe into the country's drug testing program for athletes. WADA's probe into Jamaica's drug-testing program took place after a number of high-profile Jamaican athletes (not Bolt) tested positive for banned substances. WADA sent out a warning to Jamaica that its' athletes could be prevented from competing in Brazil, if they did not address their concerns. It is my guess that as usual Jamaica "still a drag dem foot an slow bout fixin dis" and the world is not going to wait on us. According to Usain "Track & Field is my Job, that's the first thing. I know we've been going through a lot when it comes to drug-testing, WADA and the IAAF. There's been a lot going on". Bolt should be angry because this is going to deplete his earnings as sponsors will be hard to come by if he does not qualify in Rio. A so mi sey. . . .
