Lightning Bolt

Just in case you've been hiding under a rock and did not see Usain Bolt in Moscow this past weekend, let me tell you about it.  Usain "Lightning" Bolt took home three (3) gold medals - 100M, 200M & 4x100M Relay all in a week.

He is the most decorated medal holder in world championship history. Bolt has eight (8) Golds and two Silver medals. . . more than Carl Lewis (8 Golds, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze) and Michael Johnson (8 Golds).  Justin Gatlin couldn't catch him. The rest of the field couldn't catch him. very few can catch him - he's simply in a class by himself.

 

And then there was the Pocket Rocket Shelly Ann . . . . .

Not to be outshined at Moscow this past week, Shelly Ann "pocket rocket" Fraser-Pryce took home three (3) Gold medals. She won the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay. Shelly Ann annihilated her opponents in 100m in a world leading 10.71 seconds. All a wi proud so til'. . .
