Lightning Bolt

Just in case you've been hiding under a rock and did not see Usain Bolt in Moscow this past weekend, let me tell you about it.  Usain "Lightning" Bolt took home three (3) gold medals - 100M, 200M & 4x100M Relay all in a week.

He is the most decorated medal holder in world championship history. Bolt has eight (8) Golds and two Silver medals. . . more than Carl Lewis (8 Golds, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze) and Michael Johnson (8 Golds).

Let's celebrate the 51st year of Jamaica's Independence on August 6th in remembrance of the good times we had as children in Jamaica, W.I.  Some of us can still remember August 6, 1962 as a day of fun and good times as we witnessed the coming of age party for our island home. Counterfeit Cock

The Star newspaper in Jamaica has reported that there is a preponderance of evidence that people are selling Counterfeit COCK Soup. 

It has been reported that the knock offs are being sold as (3 for $50), a discount that is sure to tempt every soup lover in the country and of course Grace don't want dat!  Grace Kennedy is advising the public to be on the look out for the counterfeits packaged in its Grace brand sachets, which are being sold in a number of outlets across the island. The company issued a press release last Wednesday advising that the counterfeit packages do not have the barcode which is printed in black on the lower section (below the rooster's wings) of the sachet. In addition they are not properly sealed. Checks for the knock offs by Grace turned up products first in Ocho Rios market as well as Coronation market in Kingston.  Tell me now, if you have yu pot pon fire an smaddy bring yu one a di 3 for $50 an it look like cock soup, an it smell like cock soup . . . . Sumfest 2013

SUMFEST 2013 kicks off on Saturday July 21, 2013 at 2:00 P.M.with the Ultimate Beach party at Aquasol Theme Park.
