Jamaican Casinos

You may know a lot about Jamaica and probably stayed at some of the luxurious resorts, but did you know that there are Casinos on the Island? My Mom and I have frequented just about all of them in Ocho Rios and Montego Bay and the winning is just like everywhere else. . . Sometimes yuh win an sometimes yuh lose yuh shut!  Last year we didn't even have to take a car, we just walked up the hill across from the RIU MoBay and made our donations to the island. Most of the time we
visit Coral Cliffs when we stay in Montego Bay except when we stayed at the Holiday Inn - they have Slots on site. The slot machines were on the way to everything. So, right after breakfast or right before lunch you could find My Mom working the slots and she usually win enough to keep her going for our seven day stay.  When we stayed at the Jamaica Grand there was also no reason to go off the property, 'cause they had enough to eat & drink, plenty of entertainment and Slots downstairs. I am not sure the convenience of having Casinos/Slots in close proximity to the lobby in a Hotel is such a good thing for the guests & the Island.  What do you think?
